Built by Paul and Anet Troskie, the lodge is a dream filled with everything they love; curated art, impressive greenery and a magnificent library. The stage is set for memories to be made. Surrounded by wildlife in the middle of a Lowveld plains game estate.
Their daughter, Simone, is the host as well as potter and curator at her in house studio Vreemd Ateljee.
A STORY OF PATIENCE
THE LONG AWAITED BUSH HOLIDAY
The seed for a home in the bush was planted in the year 2000 when the Troskie's had their very first Kruger Park Holiday. It was love at first sighting. A dream was nurtured over the next 20 years. After a lot of hard work, planning, patience and persistence that dream was realised in 2020.
We had made it! Our very own, unique bush lodge. The hard work persists, but the payoff is magnificent. We are very proud of what we have created and honoured to be able to share it.

ESTATE
The Estate offers horse riding safaris, bird hides, beautiful trails for walking, running and mtb rides. You can even pre-order a picnic basket and enjoy the bush from under a tree.
SURROUNDS
The most beautiful place in Africa. The Drakensberg starts on our doorstep. Kruger Park is an hours drive away. Private Game Reserves surround us and nature abounds. We share an extensive list of Local Activities with our guests and assist in bookings.
